Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These terms set out how I work with you on web design and website care projects. By engaging Ironsite you agree to them.
1. Who these terms are with
Services are provided by Ironsite, a sole trader based in Swansea, South Wales ("Ironsite", "I", "me"). "You" means the client engaging those services.
2. Quotes and scope
Each project is confirmed by a written quote describing the scope, price and timescale. Work outside that scope is agreed and priced separately before it begins.
3. Payment
A deposit of 50% is payable to start the work, and the balance is due on launch, unless your quote states otherwise. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the date shown.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide the content, images and information needed to build your site, and to confirm you have the right to use anything you supply. Delays in providing content may move the timescale.
5. Ownership
On full payment, the finished website, its code, domain and hosting account are yours. There is no lock-in and no ongoing rental for your own website. Fonts, libraries and any third-party components remain under their own licences.
6. Website care plans
Care plans are optional, billed monthly, and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. They cover the maintenance items described on your plan and do not include new design work unless stated.
7. Revisions
Your quote includes up to two rounds of revisions to get the site right. Substantial changes of direction after sign-off may be quoted as additional work.
8. Liability
I build to a high security and quality standard, but no website can be guaranteed free of every fault or fully immune to attack. To the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the fees paid for the work concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the courts of England and Wales.
